Elder Muse/Day 23: Aging Beauty

“This post is dedicated to women especially. A reminder that the essence of who we are shines even more brightly once “cultural beauty standards” are surrendered and released and we accept another kind of beauty. One that is so much more about who we have become and are becoming.”

Ordinary Beauty

“With so much violence and unrest going on among humans, I have recently gravitated towards consciously finding the beauty in everyday ordinary experiences. This soothes my broken heart, even for just a moment in time, and releases me into a calmer more peaceful inner being and appreciation.

Day 27: Elder Muse – What Is Life Without Beauty?

DAY 12: Light and Shadows

“The shadows dance with the lessening of light each day coming nearer to the Solstice. Acceptance of this darker partner who holds stories of birth and death, aging and wisdom, beginnings and endings. love and loss – always shifting and changing. Will we notice these moments bathing in their depths, becoming a willing partner in a dance with both light and shadow….”

DAY 7: Life Is Full of Treasure

“Curiosity, play, willingness to show up as authentically yourself in the moment, living in love and gratitude, creative artistry simply for the pleasure of it, seeing the abundance of beauty and treasure in your everyday life….that is what Julie Khyl speaks to in the short Green Renaissance video below. ”

The Twisted Tree

Have you ever reflected on the many twists and turns your life has taken as an embodied human being? Even in one of my all time favorite movies, The Wizard of Oz, the infamous yellow brick road twists and turns and along the way Dorothy meets each new character that will help her to return “home”……

Chasing The Sublime

“Follow the originators of The Outdoor Swimming Society, ‘swim twins’ Kate Rew and Kari Furre, in this hauntingly beautiful glimpse at the physicality of UK cold water swimming, as two elder friends set out to chase the sublime.”

Wild Elder Elf Magic!

“Have you been in a situation where you listened to your intuition and internal guidance over a commitment you had made? It takes a certain measurement of surrender to do so and a huge heaping of trust and transparency……”
