Activism And Conscious Eldering with Vinit Allen

Vinit is co-leader of the Social Justice Team and Earth Team at Jubilee! community in Asheville, North Carolina. Jubilee! is an inclusive spiritual community that engages with social justice and environmental issues, both local and global.

He is also a core team member of the Pachamama Alliance in Asheville. Pachamama Alliance produces public educational programs and focuses on how we can help create a thriving human society and a flourishing planet

He was Executive Director for 15 years of Sustainable World Coalition, a sustainability nonprofit organization in California. Their flagship summary publication is the Sustainable World Sourcebook. They produced four years of the Spring of Sustainability interview series with the Shift Network, producing hundreds of podcasts with luminaries that included Van Jones, Joanna Macy, Dennis Kucinich, John Robbins, Bill McKibben, Vandana Shiva, Michael Brune, Andrew Harvey and many others.

Vinit is co-founder of Planet Earth Arts, with the mission of using the arts to inspire the transformative change needed for social equity and environmental restoration.

He is passionate about both nature and the arts, is a musician and singer, and can often be found hiking on a trail in the mountains.
